Jack and Beanstalk

Jack and his mother were very poor. One day, Jack’s mother said, “Jack, there is nothing to eat in the house. So, take the cow to the market and bring me whatever money you get by selling her.”

Now, on the way to the market, Jack met a man who offered him five magic beans for his cow. Jack agreed, and traded his cow for the five beans. But, when he returned home, his mother was so angry with his bargain that she threw the beans out the window.
While Jack slept that night, the magical beans grew and grew into a vine that touched the sky. When jack woke up, he was surprised to see the vine! Jack decided to climb up the beanstalk. He climbed through the clouds, and finally got to the top, where he saw a big castle in the sky. He went inside. Suddenly, Jack heard a loud noise. Quickly, he hid inside an oven. All of a sudden, a cruel looking giant appeared and said, “FE FI FO FUM, I smell the blood of an Englishman. I will eat him if I can.”
The giant searched here and there, but fortunately did not find Jack. Soon, the giant fell asleep, Jack came out of the oven. Then he saw the ‘Hen that laid Golden Eggs’
